It all started in 1987 with the US movie ´Predator´ by director John McTiernan with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the leading role. The action film combined elements of horror, science fiction and war films and has so far made it to 3 sequels and the 2 crossovers ´Alien vs. Predator'. There is no end in sight for the successful series. This also applies to the Predators series of action figures from NECA; the films offer a huge fund for more and more exciting characters from the series.
