'Comic-Con International: San Diego' began in 1970, when a group of comic, film and sci-fi fans gathered to host the first comic convention in southern California. Around 100 participants were there. Fifty years later, up to 130,000 fans flock to San Diego to attend as the big publishers, manufacturers, TV and movie producers unveil their comics, merchandise, TV, and movie premieres. The largest comic con in the world has found many offshoots and imitators. But still, "San Diego is the place to be!".
Also Hasbro, Funko, DC, Neca and Co. will be there their news from 18.-22.07. imagine. They will also sell the coveted Exclusives, which are available only locally, or their remainders then come through a few sales channels in the trade. The good news ...
