The LOCKHEED® F-22® Raptor® is an advanced fifth-generation multi-role fighter. This aircraft, which remains somewhat of a mystery and is kept under strict security, has been commissioned by the United States Air Force and is subject to a complete ban on export to other countries! Thanks to a licensing agreement, COBI is able to produce the now legendary Raptor!

This high-quality snap-together model has been designed on a 1:48 scale and fits in with the rest of the Bundeswehr collection, which also includes modern military equipment.
The aircraft consists of 695 elements, including printed parts. For this set, we have developed entirely new elements characteristic of the F-22, such as the nose section with the cockpit and vertical stabilisers. The model is perfectly finished and smooth, just like its real-life counterpart featuring STEALTH technology. The set includes a hinged cockpit in which we can place a detailed pilot figure wearing an oxygen mask. The aircraft’s landing gear can be easily removed to better display the model on the included display stand, which also features a plaque bearing the aircraft’s name and the US flag printed on it. The opening hatch contains replica bombs. This detailed brick model of the legend of the skies is a real treat for collectors and enthusiasts of military technology and brick-based models.

Thanks to the use of high-quality ABS and its lightweight construction, our model features stealth technology and is undetectable by radar. But please don’t try this at home!

The LOCKHEED® F-22® Raptor® is a highly advanced fifth-generation (latest) fighter aircraft in service with the US Air Force. Work on it began in the 1980s. It was built by the American company Lockheed Martin. The maiden flight took place in 1997 and it entered official service in 2005. The F-22 is characterised by advanced technologies that give it excellent manoeuvrability, radar stealth and the ability to carry out both air and ground operations. Its main task is air superiority. One of the key features of the F-22 is the so-called ‘supercruise’ – the ability to maintain a speed exceeding the speed of sound without the need for additional fuel support. Furthermore, the aircraft is equipped with an advanced avionics system, the AN/APG-77 radar and a unique radar stealth system that makes it difficult for the enemy to detect.
