Brrrrrrrt! Every fan of aviation and modern armed forces knows that sound! The A-10 THUNDERBOLT II™ WARTHOG® is a close air support aircraft in service with the US Air Force and the Air National Guard. This single-seat, damage-resistant fighter aircraft, powered by two turbofan engines, is designed to destroy tanks, armoured vehicles and other ground targets. Between 1975 and 1984, 715 of these aircraft were manufactured. Combat missions took place in Kosovo, Afghanistan and during the Gulf War, amongst other places. Thanks to its unique design, breathtaking effectiveness and firepower, the aircraft is highly recognisable and very popular among military aviation enthusiasts!

We present the aircraft in a unique green and graphite livery, which was used, amongst other things, during Operation Desert Storm in 1990!

The set includes a simplified version of the minifigure, which fits into a 1:48 scale cockpit. Weapons in the ‘Desert Storm’ configuration are mounted under the wings.
